"I just wanted to let you know we had a fantastic time in Portugal, the house was really comfortable and well equipped, the garden and terrace were very relaxing and the location was charming and very convenient. Our only problem was trying to fit everything in that we wanted to do. As the weather was so warm we spent alot of time visiting different beaches, it is so difficult coming back to this weather, school and work!! "We had a great time staying in this villa in July 2009. There is plenty of room for two families of 3 (two children 5 and 8). The villa is well-equipped with life saving devices such as DVD player, washing machine and dish washer. The garden is enormous and very inviting- on some hot days, we had everything we wanted- pool, vine-covered terrace - and didn't even make it to the beach!
Great base to explore the North Portugal Coast and even venture out into Spain - our favourite nearby resorts were Vila Praia de Ancora and Caminha.
Popped down to the local cafe everyday for fresh rolls and to enjoy the walk itself, across the stream and past the old stone walls and beautiful flowers. The shallow river is a great natural play area for the kids too.
Medieval market in Caminha towards the end of July was great- don't know oif it's a regular occurence.
And the restaurant there on the corner of the main road turn-off to the beach with view over the harbour is romantic and great value for money.
The villa has a cosy lounge to go back to after a day out and sample the delights of vinho Verde.

"What a find! This was the perfect holiday for our family. We wanted something relaxing, different, comfortable, spacious, safe, peaceful, interesting and easy to reach. We found all this and much more! The house, village and Coste Verde were all just perfect. We had 2 weeks in June and have booked for 2 more weeks in Sept, can’t wait! It is not easy to find a holiday that suits a variety of needs, but the Farmhouse did just that. The house is stylish and well equipped the grounds and pool perfect for lazing, swimming and outdoor eating (barbecuing). Our son (3) loved adventuring and picking oranges in the grounds. We enjoyed the local walking, river (great swimming and fishing) and village bar" June 2009
