Traditional Portuguese farmhouse, with pool, in the Minho region of Northern Portugal.The main farmhouse sleeps 6-8 and the detached studio sleeps 2 Situated north of Viana Do Castelo, just inland from the local fishing town of Vila Praia de Ancora, a series of cobbled lanes wind their way to the little stone hamlet of Luga Da Aspra. The house has far-reaching views across a picturesque rural landscape and towards the coast. 
The farmhouseThe farmhouse, is a traditional house for the region, newly modernised, with the accommodation on
the first floor. The kitchen is newly fitted with a woodburning stove, and has a dining area with seating for 10. There is a large lounge which overlooks the vineyard. There is a plasma TV, with satelite and DVD player (a selection of DVD's).There are three bedrooms: Bedroom 1 has a double bed and an ensuite shower room. Suberb views over the vineyard and towards the mountains and a seaview; Bedroom 2 has a kingsize bed with views over the courtyard; Bedroom 3 has fullsize bunkbeds, There is a sofabed in lounge.
The house bathroom has a freestanding shower and freestanding bath. The ground floor provides a laundry room and wine cellar.The StudioSet in the courtyard, the detached studio sleeps 2. The bedroom has a double bed and sofa. There is an en-suite shower room. There is a seperate kitchen with hob, fridge, and sink.
OutsideThe property has 3 acres of mature gardens and vines. Guests can:Explore the gardens; relax in the shade under the vines. The farmhouse has a spacious cobbled courtyard, patio area under the vines providing BBQ area with table, chairs, and umbrella for eating out. There is also an above ground pool for sole use of guests (available from June to September). There is an open barn providing covered parking - keeping cars cool in summer. In the autumn guests are more than welcome to help with the grape harvest / wine making. The Ancora river is less than 5 minutes walk, with a 'secret swimming spot' for the locals in the summer providing crystal clear waters which is great for swimming.
